Department of Orthopedics

The Department of Orthopaedics is dedicated to relieving pain, improving function, and restoring quality of life for individuals suffering from musculoskeletal injuries or diseases. Our mission is to provide high-quality, affordable care with limited resources, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

We have two fully functional operation theatres, two wards, an outpatient department (OPD), and 24/7 emergency services for orthopedic care. Our team specializes in trauma management and, when needed, performs elective surgeries such as joint replacements, pediatric deformity correction, and arthroscopy.

Clinical Practice Areas:

• Trauma and Orthopedic Emergency: Management of acute injuries, fractures, and orthopedic emergencies.
• Joint Replacement Surgery: Total hip, knee, shoulder, and elbow replacement surgeries.
• Sports Medicine: Diagnosis and treatment of sports-related injuries, including ligament sprains, tendonitis, and fractures.
• Spine Surgery: Surgical management of spinal disorders, including herniated discs, spinal stenosis, and scoliosis.
• Pediatric Orthopedics: Diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders in children, including clubfoot and limb deformities.

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:

• Imaging Services: X-ray, CT, and ultrasound imaging for diagnosis and follow-up.
• Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation: Comprehensive rehabilitation services, including physical and occupational therapy.
• Pain Management: Interventional pain management procedures, including injections and nerve blocks.
