The Department of Biochemistry at Government Medical College, Gadchiroli is dedicated to providing comprehensive education in the molecular and chemical basis of life. Biochemistry is the foundation for understanding disease processes, drug actions, and the metabolic pathways that sustain human health.

The department is equipped with modern laboratories including Clinical Biochemistry Lab, Research Lab, and a well-maintained museum with biochemical models and charts. Students are provided with hands-on training in qualitative and quantitative analysis of biological fluids, enzyme kinetics, and molecular biology techniques.
