The Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology at Government Medical College, Gadchiroli is dedicated to providing comprehensive education in the application of medical knowledge to legal matters and the study of poisons and their effects on the human body. FMT is essential for understanding medicolegal issues, ethical medical practice, and clinical toxicology.

The department is equipped with modern laboratories including Forensic Pathology Lab, Toxicology Lab, and a well-maintained museum with specimens, charts, and models. Students are provided with hands-on training in autopsy procedures, medicolegal examinations, and toxicological analysis.
