The Department of Pediatrics at Government Medical College, Gadchiroli is dedicated to providing comprehensive education and clinical training in the healthcare of infants, children, and adolescents. The department focuses on the physical, emotional, and social well-being of children from birth through adolescence, addressing both common and complex pediatric conditions.

The department is equipped with modern pediatric wards, neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), and specialty clinics. Students are provided with hands-on training in pediatric examination, growth assessment, immunization, management of childhood illnesses, and neonatal care.
