Department of Community Medicine (PSM)

The Department of Community Medicine (Preventive and Social Medicine) at Government Medical College, Gadchiroli is dedicated to providing comprehensive education in public health, epidemiology, and community healthcare. PSM is essential for understanding the health needs of populations, disease prevention, health promotion, and healthcare delivery at the community level.

The department is equipped with modern facilities including Epidemiology Lab, Biostatistics Lab, and a well-maintained museum with health education models and charts. Students are provided with hands-on training in community surveys, health camps, epidemiological investigations, and public health interventions.
